It’s the end of the world as we know it

Post-modern sculptures at the end of the world, at least that’s how it felt like especially when there was no one manning the ticket booth too.

Street food à la Mexican style. I’m suspecting this might be boiled yuca. It’s like rice but not rice.

Playa Norte is a gorgeous stretch of beach in Isla Mujeres with gentle waves, perfect for chillaxing adults and little ones alike. Unfortunately I do not have a photo to show.

Just a quick boatride away from Cancun lies the small island town of Isla Mujeres in the Caribbean Sea. It’s a charming little place to hit up for a day trip if you ever find yourself stuck in Cancun and need to get away pronto.

Sunny days in Cancun with ceviche and margaritas. For the first time in my life, sunglasses are a necessity – I would go blind otherwise.

Last year I boarded a plane for the longest flight of my life

Approximately 26 hours and two transfers later, I was in Cancun, surrounded by rowdy binge-drinking Americans as I waited for my take-away.
