Like I said, land of fishball mee pok soups. A pity they aren’t served with red chilli slices in soy sauce though.

  1. Have you been to Mak’s noodles in Central yet? Portions are small but dang, so good. You’ll like the chilli too, good slight hint of garlic, a bit closer to chicken rice garlic than the desired soy-sauce/chilli puddy slices.

    I know of another place in Wan Chai that serves their noodles in tiny portions like Mak’s. It’s better than most noodle places but I usually end up not going – I’ll need two bowls at least.
