Typography China #32

I’ve always wondered about the people behind these chalk-written propaganda messages. Is it those old folks with red armbands sitting on their little stools in the morning sun or chain-smoking men strolling about the neighborhood at dusk ?

  1. I love chalk writing and those like on glass windows aka always seen in Korean shows kind? Hahaha! I would love to see a live writing session? I wonder do the person practice or has a standard grid system to follow? ^^ I’d look around Singapore for chalk series too and I’d post.

  2. Yes and such meticulous strokes. Maybe they just kept practicing until they develop a grid system of their own over time ? Looking forward to your observations !
