The Edwardian style building which houses the HKMMS didn’t turn out as impressive as I had thought, sabotaged in part by the poor quality of its renovations. The exhibits were quirky though a little half-hearted. Did learn a little more about the Hong Kong Plague of 1894 (never knew before), the Nethersole Hospital and the 2003 SARS outbreak in Hong Kong.
very cool! so many places to explore in HK!
baobabs – Yeah, the museum may prove a little disappointing but it’s definitely worth a trip. The surroundings are great, a mini quiet haven in the heart of Sheung Wan !
