A hastily-planned hike which eventually morphed into a barbeque at the beach with only 30 minutes’ worth of hiking each way, not that I’m complaining. In between time spent in the crystal-clear waters and ice-cold cups of rosé wine, there was that best barbeque I’ve had in a long time (small selection of simple, delicious food, well cooked not burnt) ! It was as if we were on vacation in [insert name of random tropical beach paradise], if only just for one afternoon.
Where is this? Clearwater Bay?
The grilled brie – brilliant!
Terence – It’s Long Ke Wan ! We’ll hope to remember to bring along aluminium foil for the grilled brie (tasty) next time.
holy smokes your pictures are gorgeous! 🙂 and your picnic looks so chic with melty cheese (brie/camembert) yummmm..
thanks for leaving a comment! x
zhing – Thanks ! Hehe, not as chic in real life but definitely tasty !
oh my, this is gorgeous, i didn’t think there were clear water beaches in HK! can we please be real friends in real life so I could tag along for excursions?? 😉
baobabs – Haha of course ! Let’s get to the beaches one day soon before autumn/winter is upon us. And we still have drinks to do at that bar (re enticing summer cocktail drink if the drinks menu hasn’t been updated already) !
